Get Better Sleep And Find Natural Remedies To Cure Insomnia
This is my fifth day on 25mg of Sertraline(Zoloft).
I have had a few minor symptoms on it, some of which are starting to go away.
But there are two particular symptoms that are an annoyance. They are:
1. Restlessness
2. Insomnia
I’m wondering if anyone else had these two symptoms, and how long it took for them to go away.
i am on zoloft for my NCS. i have been on it for about 6 months and i have been getting an average of about 3-4 hours of sleep a night for the past 2 weeks. i know i should see my doctor but i am only 17 and my mother is not willing to take me. i know tylenol pm is safe, but i feel like i need something a bit stronger. anybody know of anything i can safely take while on my zoloft?
I have been taking 50mg of Zoloft. At night I take 8mg of Maleate for sleep and minor allergies. Is that ok?
I am a 21 year old female and I have been having some weird symptoms that I’m not sure what is causing it!
Well to start off I have had chronic nausea since 2005 (almost a year after my 1st son was born, possible hernia?) I usually feel sick later in the day. The last 2 weeks I have been dealing with horrible stomach cramps (like I need to go to the bathroom, #2) and I usually try and go and sit there and suffer until I can’t take it anymore, I end up taking gas pills and some anti-diarrhea medicine. I know this isn’t good but I just can’t take it anymore! I usually am fine for 2 days or so then here comes the cramps and the softer stools again! I usually try to let my body get whatever out so I can have relief but nearly an hour later, once again I’m fed up and end up taking gas pills and anti-diarrhea.
What could be causing this? I currently have tricare insurance and I’m attempting to get in to see my GP and get a referral to see a specialist or something. I can’t take much more of this! Its making me severely depressed!
I also want to add that my doctor has me on zoloft 300 mg a day and cymbalta for my anxiety and depression and I can’t be taking off of this medicine as of right now. I also am dealing with severe fatigue and insomnia

It can act as an SSRI. I recently quite zoloft, so I am trying to avoid such effects.
I need it to sleep, I was up until 1am last night and am too tired to do any work. I need an hour nap and within an hour of taking it I will be asleep and can rest an hour.

And an overdose of how much?
Please, I really need to know. I’m afraid that if I don’t die, I’ll have some permanent physical problems from trying. But if I don’t get an answer, then I’ll try anyway and hope for the best. I have 73 100mg tablets of Zoloft and 27 100mg tablets of Trazodone. I could also drink alcohol if that will help. Is this enough?

I’ve tried everything! I’ve tried Benedryl, Unisom, Elavil, Trazodone, Remeron, Rozerem, melatonin, Zoloft, Lexapro, and even all the hygiene methods like: keeping the clock away from my view, regular bedtime routine by watching TV to relax then going to be almost always around 9-10 and getting up to go lay on the sofa whenever I wake up because I can never get back to sleep after I wake up after about 4-5 hours. I’ve even tried an SAD light to help regulate my body clock. Help!!
I do have a slight depression and it’s gotten loads better from the medication and I’ve been on it for over eight weeks now. However, whenever I do get some sleep it’s never refreshing. I’m only 24 and I never really worry about anything as I’m falling asleep. Soooo… anything else?
I mean is it kind of like a sleeping tablet. Also when you drink and take zoloft does it make you more drowsy?
Is it just for drowsiness reasons, or are there other problems with it? If you take Zoloft in the morning, is it alright to drink at night?

Even if it does wake me up, I am often in a semi-sleep state, and I turn the alarm off without realizing it, and I go back to sleep. My parents think I have much more trouble waking up than a normal teenager, even considering the circumstances, and they don’t like having to wake me up, usually several times each morning. In the afternoon, it is common for me to take naps accidentally, because I am so tired. I take 50 mg of Zoloft every night. Could my sleep problems be because of Zoloft?
I want to try Zoloft, an antidepressant that my doctor prescribed to me. She said it will help with my obsessive, unwanted thoughts and anxiety. I googled the side effects and asked my doctor, but she says I only need to worry about drowsiness. But google says I will not sleep! What are the side effects that you endured? And what happens after you finish the 30 day bottle? How do you feel?
My sister had bad postpartum with her first child. She is expecting again, but this time around, she is afraid of getting really bad panic attacks again. I know you can take Zoloft while pregnant but that doesn’t quite work while having a panic attack episode. Are there any safe Benzodiazepines for pregnancy?
Do medications that increase remembering dreams as well as the vividness of them possibly increase our time of being in REM sleep? It is documented most vivid dreams occur in REM sleep, and I always have vivid dreams even if im asleep for only an hour. Everynight I realize how vivid they are and how real they seem, I take zoloft during the day, diphenhydramine 50 mg and 3 mg meletonin + thianine at night. I know 3 mg of meletonin is ALOT but it gives me amazing vivid dreams. Is this increasing my REM sleep at all or just causing vivid dreams in the earlier stages of my sleep?
I know REM sleep isin’t supposed to occur for at least a few hours, and it just confuses me why I have vivid dreams after only sometimes 10 minutes of sleeping.
so wouldnt it cause a better nights sleep if it came on quicker? we get the most rest out of REM sleep right?
I’m on Zoloft for anxiety & have a history of depression. I want to switch to a different anti-depressant, start taking sleeping pill and go on birth control to curb p.m.s and menstrual pain. What would be a good combination? I’m seeing a doctor about it in a few days but I want to have an educated guess before I see her.
