Some of my dreams I can barely remember, but I can remember certain parts of it..Other dreams, I can remember everything quite vividly, and feel EVERYTHING perfectly as well.

What does this say about the vivid dreams in comparison to the sketchy ones?

ANY thoughts would help, any at all I will take into consideration.. Especially anyone with dream interpreting experience.

Why do I keep having dreams all of a sudden?

I usually don’t dream very much, and when I do I can’t remember them~
It seems like most of my life my vivid dreams have been far and in between. Lately though I’ve been dreaming almost every night, nothing has really changed in my life, and sometimes the dreams don’t even make sense.. I just don’t understand it.

For over a year I’ve been tired every day, no matter how much sleep I get, no matter whether I exercise and eat healthy or not. I was on ritalin then adderall and they have hardly any affect on me. I also need a lot more caffeine than the average person to get any energy from it. Two years ago, I was so sensitive to even the smallest amounts of caffeine that it would cause a panic attack (which I don’t get anymore). I have countless, extremely vivid dreams every time I fall asleep, even if I doze off for 5 minutes & someone wakes me up, I’ll have already started dreaming. I know you aren’t supposed to enter REM sleep until after about 90 minutes of non-REM sleep. I also sometimes have the ‘paralyzed’ feeling for a short time after waking, but I don’t fall asleep in random places. Do you think there’s a chance I have a sleep disorder? Is there any treatment available for something like this?

Does it sound like I have a sleep disorder?

I have had trouble falling asleep for as long I can remember. I am 14 by the way. I try to get to sleep at about 9:30 P.M. but can’t fall asleep until about 2:30 A.M. almost every night. And when I do fall asleep, I fall into a real deep sleep and wake up at about noon. I am always tired throughout the day. And I can’t seem to fall asleep before 2:30 no matter have much sleep I got the previous night.

When I was younger I had a bad problem with bed wetting and it still occasionally happens. I also slept walk. I remember camping with my neighbor and had to sleep in their parents tent. The next day she told me that I had almost beat her up in my sleep. I haven’t slept walked in about 2 years now though.

And sometimes I get real bad cramps in my legs. Like my muscles are rolling. I am also told that I am a kicker.

My mom thinks that I might have enuresis but she is not a doctor and has not talked to my doctor about it. Right now I am taking melatonin and it is helping some. Before I started taking it, I wouldn’t dream, or so it seams. Now I am getting very vivid dreams.

Whenever I am wakened before I feel like I’ve gotten enough sleep, it is like an actual physical pain to get up because I am in such a deep sleep.

Sorry for going on for so long. I was just wondering if it sounds like I have a sleep disorder, and if so, which one?
I’m going to talk to my doctor next month and see what she says but I just want to know some of the possibilities. Thank you! = )
My dad said that he has similar problems but not so severe now. So it might be genetic but he never got it checked out, Oh and 2:30 is on a good night. Most of the time it’s around 3:00 – 3:30 A.M. I am homeschooled so I don’t have to worry about that in my schedule but I do want to be on a good schedule with the people around me.
No I’m not afraid of wetting. It rarely happens anymore.

For the past month, no matter how many hours of sleep I get I wake up with dark circles under my eyes, and I’m sleepy throughout the day.

I know I enter REM cycle because I do have many vivid dreams.

I have heard from people who have either been deprived of food or were on a starvation diet that they had really vivid dreams; so what is the cause? Does the process of digestion take up too much energy that could otherwise be focused on dreams and dreaming or is it another phase of starvation where you are going delusional in your sleep, or something else?

Sleep problems…..?

My husband has recently developed some sleep problems. He snores so loud I think the neighbors can hear him(no kidding). He wakes up every 1-2 hours and has trouble falling back asleep. He never feels rested. He has strange, vivid dreams that he actually acts out sometimes. He’s been tested for sleep apnea, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Any ideas as to what this could be? Thanks in advance!

I take just 1 mg and I go to sleep in less than 10 minutes and sleep soundly for at least eight hours. No hangover effect after I wake up. I do have more cartoonish dreams, though, but this is nothing new for me because I was having vivid dreams every night even before taking it.

I’ve heard from some people that diphenhydramine causes very vivid dreams, and makes it easier to become lucid in dreams. Others have said that since it causes deeper sleep, it’s more difficult.

I’ve taken Unison a few times before when I had trouble sleeping. I did have a lot of weird dreams when I took it, but never really became lucid.
