Before anyone goes off about health effects. 5 Tylenol PM isn’t good for you either.
Edit – not a junkie. Just can’t make it through my day with 1 – 2 hours sleep. That’s about all I get with Tylenol PM.

Sometimes I can only get like 5 hours of sleep a night and I don’t want to still be drowsy from Tylenol PM on my drive. Is it okay to take it if I can only get 5 hours?

Im posting this as someone who knows the answer to help combat misinformation. You can take both. But don’t take my word for it, look up the number to a pharmacist and ask them directly (it takes no time at all). I just did and he explained that it is perfectly fine to take tylenol pm with ambien

I take between 5-10mg Ambien every night but one or two nights per week I will take a 10mg Ambien along with two Tylenol PM. Is this okay to do? A coworker said it could stop my respiratory system and I could die in my sleep. I need some clarity.

I have tried Benadryl, Tylenol PM, Tylenol Simply Sleep, Unisom, and Sleep MD. They all work about the same for me, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other types or brands of sleep aids that I could try? Also, do all over the counter sleeping pills have the same ingredients or is there an ingredient I should look for? I’m just trying to find something that works once and for all, or maybe I just need to switch it up so I don’t get addicted!

About 2 hours ago I had a can of Mountain Dew, so I had some caffeine intake. We’re supposed to have some severe storms tonight, and I know I won’t be able to get to sleep in the middle of them, so I was going to take like a Tylenol PM in about an hour or two to help me sleep through it. However, since I just gave myself an energy burst, I don’t know if it’s safe to take a sleeping pill. Would it be alright?

I’m a 20 year old female. I wake up at night every now and then (I’d say once every two weeks or so) with terrible itching. It starts on the palms of my hands where it feels like they are tingling/burning and then random spots all over start to itch. If I itch one, another place itches. This continues for hours, and I lose a ton of sleep from it. I’ve tried putting lotion on my hands to stop the burning, but that doesn’t help. I have no idea what triggers it, because it’s never a specific food or product. The nights this happens are totally random. I feel like I need to rip my skin off to get relief though. What can I keep around the house that will stop this itching? Or is there a Tylenol PM or something that I could take to just put me back to sleep? I do not know what this is. My skin doesn’t look any different, but it burns and itches and wakes me up in the middle of the night. Help?

what are some good over the counter sleeping pills?
one of my roommates used to be a coke addict so his body isn’t used to sleeping. since he kicked his drug habit, he’s had to take sleeping pills every night to go to sleep. he built up a tolerance for tylenol PM and a few others.
what are some over the counter sleeping pills that work wonders?
:: he doesn’t have insurance so prescription meds and doctor visits are out of the question ::

My brother has been very depressed lately and I found a bottle of sleeping pills in his room. Is it possible to kill yourself with over the counter stuff like tylenol pm?

I’m not going to lie here. I’m addicted to Tylenol Pm or any of the over the counter sleeping aids. I can sleep good at night. I take them because I like how my body feels. The drowsiness, and waiting game excites me. I have been taking 2-6 pills during a whole day. I’m sort of depressed now, so the pills helps me escape.
How are these pills harmful.

I’m a tosser and have trouble sleeping.. when I take Advil PM (or tylenol PM.. barely different) I find that I sleep really well! But I have sore shoulder the day after and I’m guessing it is because I don’t toss and change positions as I would without the medication.
Anyone else experience this?
(I’m just getting a general reaction in the area of pain/discomfort in the morning, not looking for sleep aid advice)

Ok, so…. I’ve cut out caffeinated beverages(soda, iced tea, red bull), quit consuming alcohol, tried to keep the stress to a minimum by meditating before bed.
I still can’t seem to get to sleep at night? I know going through a breakup doesn’t help put the mind at rest, but after 3 months I should be getting back to a regular sleep schedule, right? I’m physically exhausted most nights, but wind up starring at the wall for hours. Does anybody have any surefire ways to get rid of insomnia without Tylenol pm, or other prescribed sleep aids? Oh, I also quit watching tv in my bedroom, and nothing.
Help
