Sleep problems…..?




My husband has recently developed some sleep problems. He snores so loud I think the neighbors can hear him(no kidding). He wakes up every 1-2 hours and has trouble falling back asleep. He never feels rested. He has strange, vivid dreams that he actually acts out sometimes. He’s been tested for sleep apnea, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Any ideas as to what this could be? !!!!SLEEP PROBLEMS!!!!!!!?




This happens to me everyday. I come home from school about 5ish and when i start doing my homework, i get super super tired. Sometimes I fall asleep but sometimes i am able to stay awake. But then later on, when I get ready for bed and i get into bed, i have trouble sleeping. I eventually get to sleep but it takes me a while. If anybody has any ideas, I would be grateful to hear ANYTHING.

I’ve heard that kids need around 7-8 hours of sleep, and that there is a period during those sleeping hours that is most effective in their growth spurt and when their height grows the most per se. What hours are most effective when it comes to growth in height for children? Any source provided will be much appreciated since it would be more reliable than a guess. I am currently trying to lose around twenty pounds. I’m a 5′8" nineteen year-old male.

I know the right amount of sleep affects metabolism, but would it be better to get seven or eight hours? Or, maybe even a number I didn’t post?

Does progesterone help for Chronic Insomnia?




Anyone had experience supplementing their progesterone levels in order to treat severe, chronic, Insomnia? Chronic Insomnia is a condition whereby you can’t sleep AT ALL without the aid of medication. Can anyone tell me if it improved / cured their Chronic Insomnia.

I have had insomnia on and off since I was a baby, usually 2-3 months of sleeping regularly, and 1-2 months of not sleeping. A littler personal info may help you to, for lack of better words, diagnose me. I lead a very stressful life as an audio engineer, where my job consists of working with bigtime artists, at all hours and especially weekends. This doesnt seem to bother my girlfriend, she says she understands, and I do believe that she does, but I can’t help but to feel that I have no life on account of being called in at odd hours, and bad times. I do not have a drug problem or any thing like that, I’m just looking for some natural remedies to set my sleeping habits straight. I usually do not sleep more than 3 to 4 hrs and thats around 7am when I fall asleep. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How can a doctor check the reasons of snoring?




Hello,
My friend and me have a problem due to his snore. I really do love him, however it’s incredibly strenous to wake up during night due to the noise he makes. I’m quiet sure, that one’s able to find out the reasons for snoring, yet how is that done and does anyone know how much it costs? I don’t want to switch to the couch, but I’m tired of being awake when all I really want is just to sleep.

I’m 16, and I have ADD so I have been taking dexedrine for two weeks now. I just switched from 10 mg to 15 mg every morning, and I absolutely cannot sleep at night. Is there a way to cure this drug-induced insomnia without not taking the drug? How harmful is insomnia to my body? I have been awake for more than 60+ hours now.

i cant sleep at night but i dont take medicine?




i dont take medicine for anything because i dont believe in it. please dont judge me. i just have a question to ask if you have a answer thats beautiful if not…Shut UP thanks in advance anyways, i cant sleep at night. i fall asleep then i wake back up and do the same drill all night after that. i just need to get some sleep. a little history about me i dont drink, smoke nor eat meat. i just need some sleep some body, any body help me please?

Trazadone & Sleep Disorders?




Is this medication good for getting rid of sleep disorders like insomnia? I am having this problem when I try to sleep just about when I get to sleep, I get startled/excited that I am about to sleep and it wakes me back up repeating the cycle all over. My dreams also seem to be panicked, when I wake up I feel kinda worn out. Also with the trazadone are there any side effects I should be seriously worried about? Thanks in advance. ~Pat

How much sleep should my 8 month old be getting?




My 8 month old sleeps 11-12 hours at night and I shoot for between 3-4 hours of napping during the day. Does this seem right? He used to sleep more during the night, but he’s getting up earlier lately. His naps have gotten a little longer, though. Thanks in advance for the help!

How much does your baby sleep during the day?




My daughter is now 5 months old and she generally takes about 2-3 naps during the day, totalling 3-4 hours in all. I’ve noticed that sometimes at night she won’t want to go to bed if she has slept more than usual during the day. I realize that all babies differ as far as how much sleep they need and whether that interferes with their nighttime sleep but I am just curious how many naps your baby takes and for how long.

My 15 month old takes one 2-3 hour nap per day and has no problem sleeping at night.

Anyone have some good cures for insomnia?




I’m trying to get off sleeping pills I’ve been relying on, but I’m having serious insomnia troubles without them. My body feels exhausted, but my mind doesn’t seem to and lately I just don’t get a comfortable, tired feeling at bedtime. I have anxiety issues, and I had an anxiety attack while trying to sleep, so I think that is hooked into it. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
