I just had my belly button pierced last night. And they told me not to sleep on my stomach, but they didn’t tell me how long I couldn’t sleep on my stomach. I hate sleeping on my back this is why I am asking.

I know stomach sleeping is bad for your back, but I haven’t found anything authoritative about whether side or back sleeping is better. If possible, please cite a medical source; I’ve already found plenty of people’s personal opinions. Thanks!

I’m 7 months pregnant, and I know that I can’t sleep on my stomach or back, but why is it recommended to sleep on the LEFT side? What’s wrong with the right side? I switch back and forth between left and right, and I don’t see why the left is better…

I am so tired of being woken up every hour or so to my husband snoring in my ear or my face. He says it’s because he has a cold, but he snores much more often than he doesn’t. He snores regardless of what position he lies in (on his side, back, stomach).
He’s 24, a little overweight but not obese, and doesn’t drink or take any medications.
Any suggestions?

Earlier I slept on my back, now I’ve begun sleeping on my stomach. Does it mean that my character is changing?

I’ve tried tapping him- but it wakes him- and the snoring only stops temporarily. I’ve tried pinching his nose, kicking his foot, tickling him. The snoring doesn’t wake me out of my sleep, but if I’m not asleep yet it keeps me up.
I do snore- but I wake myself up when I snore(my own snoring noise wakes me before it wakes him.) I’ve learned to adjust my pillow so that my airway is more open- then I do not snore-
He usually starts out on his stomach but when he rolls to his back that is when the problem starts.

What happens physically to your body functions when you overdose on sleeping pills? Do users who overdose typically get induced in a a coma? And if they are caught and after their stomach is pumped what is the side effecst?
I have a friend who claimed that he/she overdosed on sleeping pills. So I am trying to see if your story is accurate by getting as much info as I can. Thanks.
Please pray for my friend.
I will pick Best Answer probably tonight! But if not, tomorrow for sure!

How do you help a 5 month old who has just learned to roll over sleep better? My baby is at this stage of rolling over and at night it wakes her up because she gets frustrated mid-roll. I started letting her sleep on her stomach but I’m not sure she likes sleeping that way. She also scoots all over the bed and wakes up when she can’t roll like she wants to. HELP!!! What can I do to help her?

I have some subluxation in my neck and my lower back is curved to the left a little. I usually sleep on my stomach or on my side but I think this is causing the problem. Is there something I can wear while I sleep or sleep on to improve this.

I strained my lower back muscle a few days ago and I have a terrible time sleeping. It seems like every position I try is still extremely uncomfortable. I usually sleep on my back, but I’ve been sleeping on my stomach/side and it still hurts. Help!

My question is how do I relieve pressure on my lower back? Also what is the best sleeping position? I noticed when I go to sleep I sleep better on my stomach, but the problem is the lower back starts to sink and it causes me to have back pain in the morning. Then when I try sleeping on my side I can’t even fall asleep and if I sleep on my back I get sleep apnea episodes. I am trying to find a way so I can sleep better without any interruptions so that does incluses mattress and pillows. Anyone know what I can do?
