Is a healthy sex life condusive to better sleep at night? I don’t know.
I have messed up sleeping patterns and I always go to sleep really late. Somedays I feel exhausted for going to bed late and I take naps. Other days I don’t take naps even though I only had 2-3 hours of sleep at night. There is a lot going in my mind these days but it is getting better. So maybe I am having trouble resting my mind. But what should I do to get myself back to normal sleeping patterns?
I’m the kind of person who needs 10 hours of sleep at night - unfortunately, I get closer to 5 or 6 because my boyfriend and I work different schedules. Usually, I just sleep a good 12 hours each night over the weekend & I’m fine during the week. This isn’t the case this week though. Even on the weekend I felt the need to take a nap - it wasn’t just that I felt sleepy, but that I couldn’t keep my eyes open for anything. Yesterday i refused to take a nap, knowing I’d have to come to work today and wanted to get good rest at night. That didn’t happen. As soon as I went to bed, I coudln’t sleep. Mind wasn’t racing or anything like that, I just couldn’t get to sleep - then when I did, I couldn’t stay asleep.
Now I’m starting to feel drowsy again. What can I do to stop this cycle & make it through the day?
So. I’ve been to my doctor several times over a few problems I’ve been having. He is relating it to stress, work and school. About a month and a half ago I suddenly became very fatigued. All of the time. I’m always tired, and I get a good amount of sleep at night. Well, around 2 weeks I started having some sort of insomnia. It takes me FOREVER to get to sleep and then I wake up every hour on the hour like clockwork. And now to top it all off I’ve noticed my muscles are very "crampy" for lack of a better term, they’re always tight and feel like they’re going to spasm at any moment (maybe you know the sensation I’m referring to), especially in my lower legs more specifically my calves. Does anyone know if any of these conditions are linked? My doctor believes it only to be stress, but I’m rather use to work and school nothing is occuring out of the norm. ANY help would be greatly greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!
i dont take medicine for anything because i dont believe in it. please dont judge me. i just have a question to ask if you have a answer thats beautiful if not…Shut UP thanks in advance anyways, i cant sleep at night. i fall asleep then i wake back up and do the same drill all night after that. i just need to get some sleep. a little history about me i dont drink, smoke nor eat meat. i just need some sleep some body, any body help me please?
I go to bed at 2:30 to 3:00 AM almost every night i and i still don’t fall asleep %40 of time. When i go bed at a more regular time like 12:00-12:30 i will probably only fall asleep 10%-15% of the time. Things are even wrose when school is going on i only get between 5-6 hours of sleep at night sometimes less or no sleep at all. I haven’t had any major tramus in my life, i don’t drink to much caffiene, i exericse EVERYDAY. I have drank a little before at parties and stuff but in past week i have been drinking every night to try and help my self sleep at little easier. I understand this could lead to a serious problem. By some people i am viewed as a very angry person i think my lack of sleep causes my grumpyness and i think that the alcohol makes it even worse. Do you think i have a condition, what do you make of all this?
I am a senior in high school and have missed a ton of days of school including today because I just cant sleep at night. I toss and turn and try sleeping in differnet places in the house and nothing works. Does anyone know of a good over the counter sleep aid?
sorry I spelled medicine wrong.
I am 16, and don’t want to take sleeping pills. How can I fall asleep more easily? I’ve been awfuly tired during the day, especially at school with getting hardly any sleep at night.
In 2006 I had a car accident and had trauma to the left side of my head in the area right above where my ear is. I had a hairline fracture in my skull. I had a cat scan done and there was no brain injury sustained. Since my injury I’ve been experiencing fatigue throughout the day and trouble sleeping. Before the accident I use to sleep well with no problems and would wake up the next morning with energy all day. Now I wake up a few times during the night and only get about 5 hours of sleep, once I’m awake I cannot go back to sleep. I’ve been doing some research online and it seems quite common for people to suffer from sleep disorders after experiencing head trauma. Therefore, I believe my fatigue and various other symptoms that I use to never experience before the accident, one being irritability, is due to not getting enough sleep at night. With the research I have conducted, I have come to the conclusion that I have two options: Number one is to treat myself with time released melatonin (I believe my circadian sleep rhythms may have been disrupted), or number two going to see a sleep specialist/or maybe a neurologist instead?
Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.
I have problems falling asleep and I don’t want to take any sleeping pills, because I did and got addicted. But is it true that keeping yrself occupied causes better sleep at night?
I’ve tried everything and i cant sleep at night. I’ve counted, relaxed everybody part one by one, listened to music, red before bed, calmed my mind, made it cool, made it warm, tried a hot bath. Nothing works and i have to get up at five every morning and im way tired in the morning. Any advice?
Of course, one can get too little sleep but, can over do it by sleeping extra hours?
Should one limit the amount of sleep at night so as to feel the most refreshed? At times, I have felt more awake in the morning when I would get fewer hours of sleep than 8 or 9 hours. Should I try going between 7-8 hours?
Also, is it worse to hit the snooze button a few times or to get right up the first time the alarm goes off?
How many hours does everyones baby’s sleep at night? My baby is almost 4 weeks and wakes up every 2 hours, sometimes even more often than that to eat.
Im just wondering when she will start to sleep more? She is eating like 4 ounces every feeding. I read she she be eating that much per feeding but like every 4 hours not 2.
How much does your baby eat , how often, and how much does she sleep. Anyone know when baby’s start to sleep for longer periods also?
Any info would be great!

Q1) I cant sleep at night no matter what i do, its annoying the hell out of me >.< I usually end up sleeping around 2-3 in the morning and i have to get up at 7:30 for school. I’ve tried countin backwards from 1000 in 3’s and concentrating on breathin in through nose out through mouth etc. Any tips or tricks?
Q2) I get stressed/angry easily (mainly cause of my EXTREMELEY annoying friend >.>) how can i releive my stress? I cant punch anything cause i break it (yes even a pillow and a wall) and i cant make alot of noise. I do have a hobby (drawing) which i thought would releive stress, instead it just gets me even angrier if i dont end up drawing what i expected (im very hard on myself on these things) talking to friends dont help since i usually end up scaring them XD And im very rude when im angry though i try not to, so i try to be extremely nice when im angry. Long story. But any tips on stress releif?
By the way, dont correct me on spelling relief wrong or any other word wrong
