My prescriptions are currently covered under CVS caremark insurance. I have gotten many different prescriptions, including ones for generic adderall and generic ambien, and never had a problem. However, I know that Lunesta does not come in a generic form. Will I be able to afford it?

Why can’t I get medicine in America without paying my entire paycheck over to a guy to write a prescription?
my boyfriend has a significant amount of trouble falling asleep and says that it often can take him up to two hours to fall asleep. in addition, he often has rather restless sleep which may or may not include fairly vivid dreams or waking up in the middle of the night. in addition, he says that sometimes when he even does get a full night’s amount of sleep he will wake up still feeling tired. so, i was wondering what may be the cause of this inability and what if anything can be done to ease its affects (preferably through natural means, i.e. no prescriptions)?
I’ve been interested in the cost of narcolepsy medication, and just treatment of narcolepsy in general. I’m pretty clueless as to how someone could get medication for the condition. Is it purely prescription based? How much are prescriptions costing you? Do free-clinics give out prescriptions or do you have to pay for medical insurance to go see a doctor for diagnosis and prescription? Are there any over-the-counter drugs available for narcolepsy?

I’m very sick with pneumonia, and I’m having to pump and dump every 1 1/2 to 2 hours to keep my supply up. I can’t feed my daughter breast milk because of the prescriptions I’m on. My supply is starting to dwindle due to the strong antihistamines and other meds I’m taking. So how can I keep my supply strong while I’m very ill and on strong medication?

I’m guessing it was suicide. I didn’t know the guy personally but I still think it was suicide via sleeping pills. There were five different prescriptions of sleeping aids similar to Ambien near his body. He also said in a recent interview that since he had a daughter he was now free to die because he could live on in her.
I am looking for a knowledgeable answer. With many prescriptions/supplements, some work significantly better when taken with food, some do not. How does ambien work out in regards to this?

Just using it occasionally at a 3 mg dose? What are the side effects besides sleepiness? How well does it help with insomnia as compared to prescriptions such as ambien?
I have a friend who is having terrible problems with insomnia and obsessive cycles of thought. Her sleep problems are so bad that she’s run out of prescriptions that help. She is so upset by what is happening that she can’t think of anything else. She is frantic, driven, miserable and afraid she might die.

She and her husband are going to someplace in California for medical testing on her brain to see if they can find the problem and get her some relief.
If you have resources that can explain this problem to me I would sure appreciate it. I will pray for my friend – but I would like to understand what she is going through – surely she’s not the only one who’s ever gone through such extremes of insomnia and OCD.
