I normally sleep with 2 pillows: one feather and one some squishy foam stuff.
Yesterday I think I slept funny on my neck so I have had neck ache all day and I can barely move it. The pain has been so bad it’s brought me to tears! And yes, I have taken some paracetemol and I have kept a heat pack on it for a bit which has eased the pain.
But would it be better for my neck to sleep with one or two pillows?
Any advice would be appreciated

Im 19 years old and I still dont like sleeping alone . Ive shared a room with my sister most of my life, and now i have my own room and i find it hard to sleep . I usually end up making "a body" with my pillows to lye beside me which i like to hide behind and i find myself opening my cellphone constantly to shine around my room to make sure theres no killers/ghosts. I deal with it, but its usually an hour-2 hours before i fall asleep. Any tips?

versus and unmade bed.
I think I tend to sleep better if my sheets, blankets, and pillows aren’t ruffled up.

I am wondering how it is so, without the thought of shame, disgust in being used and non-valued? Going around sleeping with men, when subconsciously this is all a matter of being approved, compensation factors, inability to love yourself. How? How can women do this? These men don’t love you or respect you. They respect your willingness to give them what they want.
I think one day, I want to experiment this unfortunate phenomenon… But i know that I will go to bed, and the pillows won’t be easy to sleep on.

He wakes me up a lot, he always scratches his thingy, he steels covers, snores, always has to put pillows between his legs, has to sleep with the TV on! What can I do? The spare bedroom is occupied by our newborn and I am sure not sleeping on the couch, and he wont! Advice?

Eg. does sleeping on two pillows cause neck problems? Or does it help you sleep? Or are there benefits and drawbacks? Overall, would you say it’s better to sleep on one pillow or on two stacked on top of each other?

For those who use a cpap, please. I am a side sleeper and wondered if the special pillows are worth it or do you have any "home made" pillow tricks?

We have 2 problems with our 21 months old daughter, both relate to sleeping. She has slept through the night from 6 weeks old, no waking through the night unless teething and would easily go back to sleep. Going to sleep by herself since she was 4 months old. She is in a rhino brace due to a dislocated hip. In the last 3 weeks when we put her down at night she just SCREAMS till the point she poos herself. I have tried the controlled crying, always worked untill now. She will scream out for me, when I pick her up she calms down and settles but as soon as her head hits the mattress she starts all over again. Some nights it takes her 2 hours to go to sleep. Don’t know what else to do, if she wasn’t in the brace I would leave her cry (as long as she wasn’t beside her self). But being in the brace she moves into ackward positions. 2nd She wakes at LEAST 5 times a night. Some times she starts the screaming all over again and takes forever to go back to sleep. And hints or suggestions PLEASE
I’m 16 weeks pregnant with 2nd baby and suffer from pregnant migraines so NEED sleep. Averaging 4-5 hours broken sleep a night. Really would like to get her back into a routine by time baby is born.
She does need to be turned once a night. But she souldn’t need it more than that I was told. She doesn’t seem to be in pain. It’s a different cry. Her hip was dislocated at birth and wasn’t actually causing her any pain (so they tell me, I don’t see how it wasn’t) She gets into ackward positions as she has to lay on pillows to stop pressure sores and pulls them out from under her, or get her legs stuck under them. Other times she gets her leg stuck under the rail that stops her falling out of bed. Had to put her into a bed doesn;t fit in a cot when she’s in the brace.

I am 29 weeks pregnant and I have difficulty sleeping. I know this is normal. However the main reason is that I wake up cold, so I cover, then I wake up too hot, etc. This is all night!
I’ve tried different A/C and Fan settings, different pillows and bed sheets, different pajamas, or no pajamas. I can not sleep!
The heat is more bothersome to me than the cold. Any advice?

Normally I sleep on a side, but I’m trying to start sleeping on my back. Anyone have good recommendations of pillows that could help me do this? Also where to get them online?

I have been recently having trouble sleeping in my boyfriend’s bed(a queen with two pillows and one big blanket.) When I am alone in the bed I fall asleep no problem but as soon as he gets in the bed I am tossing and turning and can’t get comfortable. I wake up 2-3 times a night after I finally fall asleep and when I wake in the morning I feel like I only slept 5 minutes.
When we sleep in my bed (which is a twin with loads of pillows, soft sheets and big fluffy blankets) it still takes me a minute or two to get comfy but then I am out like a light and wake up feeling refreshed.
MY one suspicio is that his bed isn’t comfortable enough for me, but the thing is when he’s not init I sleep just fine. We have a very loving relationship so I know my subconcious isn’t trying to get my attention, but what the heck? How can I deal with this?
We have been together for almost a year and been sleeping in each other’s beds for almost as long. He doesn’t snore or anything. When I wake up I am awake for 20 minutes to an hour each time, so it’s not like I wake up and then roll over and get back to sleep. I work early in the morning and he works late at night and so I try to stay up until he gets home or comes over and that’s the perfect bed time, but not being able to sleep isn’t working for me.

its really irritating. everytime i have a big exam coming up, i never sleep well the night before the paper. i probably get about two hours sleep for nine hours of exam papers a day. i go to bed on time, but i cant sleep. i feel so tired when i am awake, but as soon as i hit the pillows, my head starts running with all the equations and the regular- what-if’s . what can i do to make this stop?? it is ruining my performance on the exam papers!! and as soon as the exam finishes, i am able to sleep fine once again. this makes me very fustrated. i tried warm milk and butter toast, i tried listenint to soothing music, i tried counting sheep, i tried listening to the aircon. how do i turn my head off?? i also tried meditating in some yoga poses and concentrating on my breathing, but this makes me seem more awake as i am concentrating!! this sucks big time ppl! pls give me a better help than telling me to just relax, because clearly, i canttt! help pppl!! =)
to 99999:
