I am a non-violent person who believes that peace is the best route to take. I am about as close to being a pacifist as one can be. Yet, I have a number of dreams that involve shooting bad guys or being shot by them. These dreams are quite vivid.

How can I change my late sleeping habits?




I have spent the past few years of my life sleeping beyond 2AM, sometimes as late as 5AM, but it hurts my performance in school and everything else, since I would either be sleep deprived, or wake up too late to study. The hardest part is, I enjoy sleeping late. I like the peace, quiet, and the dark. This drives my roommate crazy, since he regularly sleeps at or before 2AM. What can I do to make me not sleep so late?

How can I cure my insomnia?




I just can’t sleep at night! In the day, I’m exhausted, I won’t wake up until 4pm, and then I’d take half an hour naps then too. I feel tired, and I tried putting music on and I just. can’t. sleep. Where I am right now, its 2.26 am, and I woke up at 5pm after sleeping at 8.30am. I don’t wanna take any hard-core pills where I’d be knocked out for 12 hours straight or anything. Earlier I fell asleep listening to a song, but then I woke up about 20 minutes later and after that I couldn’t go to sleep. Just suggest some cures, and if there is a pill that’s not too strong,please tell me what it is. :)

how to cure insomnia?




its really irritating. everytime i have a big exam coming up, i never sleep well the night before the paper. i probably get about two hours sleep for nine hours of exam papers a day. i go to bed on time, but i cant sleep. i feel so tired when i am awake, but as soon as i hit the pillows, my head starts running with all the equations and the regular- what-if’s . what can i do to make this stop?? it is ruining my performance on the exam papers!! and as soon as the exam finishes, i am able to sleep fine once again. this makes me very fustrated. i tried warm milk and butter toast, i tried listenint to soothing music, i tried counting sheep, i tried listening to the aircon. how do i turn my head off?? i also tried meditating in some yoga poses and concentrating on my breathing, but this makes me seem more awake as i am concentrating!! this sucks big time ppl! pls give me a better help than telling me to just relax, because clearly, i canttt! help pppl!! =)

I have severe insomnia and this results in my feeling quite tired during the day. I usually experience it when there has been a big change in my life (for example, I recently moved back to India after 4 years in the UK; and less than a year ago, I broke up with my partner of 5 years) or when I am bored or restless and my mind cant stop working. I tend to have cycles of poor sleep and normal to excess sleep which run on average for about 3-4 days each.
I excercise regularly and eat sensibly.
Can anyone help, especially with suggestions on how to practise calmness and a sense of peace?
Can anyone offer suggestions?

How do you cure Insomnia?




I have a friend who suffers from several nights of Insomnia. I am not sure how to help him out. he’s tried all the knock out drugs over the counter. They still work but I know this can’t be good. Is it something spiritual maybe he has no peace? I wish I know how to help my friend sleep well. Any good suggestions for some good nights sleep?

How can I get myself to sleep better?




I usually stay up until past midnight, but since it’s summer vacation I sleep in, but what’s a good way to help get me to sleep faster? There are constantly good shows on late, which is practically why I stay up late. Peace!
