I have tried everything to get to sleep and I just cant get to sleep. I think I got insomnia and it is driving me crazy. I have tried sleeping schedules, sleeping herbs and nothing works. I want a natural aid to help me sleep

any advice on how I can sleep better and solve my insomnia?

Insomnia – any sufferers? any Cures?




I suffer from the kind of insomia that makes it extremely difficult for me to fall asleep. No matter how tired I am, it takes me hours. Have tried many things over the years, from reading to hot milk with nutmeg to sex to meditation to tv to physical exersion etc. Nothing works. Had some success recently with listening to audio books, but now i seem to have developed an immunity to those as well. It’s driving me crazy, sometimes I don;t even try going to bed. oh, and a slightly odd side note – during the day i can fall asleep in minutes. does anyone have the same problem and/or a suggestion on how to tackle it? it’s driving me nuts *sigh*
suppose I should add that I don’t want to take any meds. I’m an ex drug addict… kinda want to stay away from that sort of thing for now.

My 12 month old daughter has been having a hard time getting to sleep at night. She screams bloody murder when we put her in the crib at night, and she works herself up into a frenzy, even to the point where she is pulling her own hair out and she is getting bald spots. We rock her and hold her, lay down next to the crib, and nothing works to put her to sleep other than letting her scream in her crib. We give her 10 minutes and she usually stops within that time, but not without hysterics and hair pulling. We’ve tried giving her a paci or a lovey, but there is nothing that she wants. She just wants me to hold her. I wouldn’t mind holding her, but she doesn’t fall asleep that way, and I end up making the whole fiasco continue for hours. I would bring her into our bed, but she won’t sleep there. She thinks it’s time to play and crawls all over and it’s not safe for her. I need serious help! I just don’t know what to do.

I have Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1. Ever since I bought the PC it would never go to sleep/hibernate for more than a few seconds. When I put it to sleep it wakes up almost instantly and when I put it to hibernate it reboots almost automatically. Ive turned off the screen saver function and Ive gone to power options to turn on/off hybrid sleep but nothing works.

When I apply an image as my desktop wallpaper most of the time it automatically stretches it no matter the size. When I go to personalize>Desktop background and try to stretch and center the image it wont apply. It stays stretched. I know a work around is choose browse through that window but its a hassle and for some reason some images dont show up.

So any help would be greatly appreciated

I am a senior in high school and have missed a ton of days of school including today because I just cant sleep at night. I toss and turn and try sleeping in differnet places in the house and nothing works. Does anyone know of a good over the counter sleep aid?

How do you cure insomnia?




I’ve tried everything and i cant sleep at night. I’ve counted, relaxed everybody part one by one, listened to music, red before bed, calmed my mind, made it cool, made it warm, tried a hot bath. Nothing works and i have to get up at five every morning and im way tired in the morning. Any advice?
