I have a friend who has a very mild case of Narcolepsy. I didn’t even know she had it until today. She wants to go and be an officer in any branch that’ll take her as a psychologist. She wants the military to pay for her schooling. I know the Navy has STA-21 and a few other programs. Can anyone help me with more info that I can give her?

Mine’s rather mild case of insonmia.. I sometimes find myself thinking too much and therefore would lie awake in bed for at least an hour or so or couple of hours. How do I stop this?

I’ve been prescribed Prednisone to help deal with a mild case of dermatitis, but one of the side effects that’s hit me as a result is insomnia, so I can’t sleep at night. Usually whenever I have trouble sleeping I just take a Benadryl, which makes me drowsy enough to fall asleep. Is it safe to take the Benadryl along with the Prednisone?

Is it possible to have a mild case of narcolepsy?
Also could someone not get it until they are 17? Just wondering. I noticed yesterday and today I just suddenly got really tired out of nowhere until I fell asleep (it took about 1 maybe 2 minutes for me to fall asleep) and then I woke up and felt perfectly fine and alert. I am going to try to keep track of it to see if it persists and if it does I may go see a doctor. Can it be controlled?
