okay so my mom’s has been havinf insomnia for months now and she doesnt know what to do. Shes tried so many things but nothing seems to work. The doctor gave her some pills, but she doesn’t really drink them because she knows they are not good for you. even the doctor doesn’t even recommend her to drink pills, but he gave it to her anyway. there’s time she can’t sleep until 4 or 5 in the morning. The weird thing is that shes not even sleepy or tired during the day or night even if she only got like 3 hours of sleep or so. Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone suffered from insomnia and overcome it? your advice will be greatly appreaciated!!!
I wake often in the night. Then go back to sleep and wake again. Everyone around me is starting to see a change. Some nights I wake and can’t fall back asleep so I walk around my room. I need it to stop. I have so many things to do during the day I can’t be tired or slow or anything. please help me!!
Nothing in my life would cause this. It has been going on for a while now.
I am allergic to so many things such as trees, weeds, nuts, seafood, dust mite, pollen, dander, and others.
Currently, I am taking Astelin, Allegra D, Advair, and Singulair to arrest the frequency of my allergies.
Recently, I started taking weekly allergy shots which are supposed to alleviate my allergies.
I have been experiencing dizziness and oftentime drowsiness in the afternoon.
Are drowsiness and dizzines associated with allergies?

My eyes are oftentimes strained and very dry in the afternoon. My forehead tightens up as well.

I have pretty bad sleeping problems. I tend to fall asleep at 6 or 7 am. I’m 18 years old and I just went back to school. I HAVE tried sleeping meds, but I either get addicted to them or they don’t help. So any kind of medication is completely out of the question. I am now and have been against meds for awhile. I’ve had this problem for years, but it’s gotten worse and worse. Now the question is, what do I do? I’ve tried so many things. I’ve been to 6 doctors about this…but none recently. I’d like a way to be able to sleep earlier at night. It is so difficult though. If any of you have a clue of what I should do, please let me know. Thanks!
I constantly have dreams about missing the school bus, but I haven’t taken a school bus since 2005. I’m in college ![]()
The dreams involve several people or things stalling me from leaving to catch the bus. I always catch it just in time, but SO many things happen to make me late!
I’m Experiencing some sleeping problems like i only can sleep when my body is to weak to do anything even tho i am tired i am unable to sleep it takes me 2 to 3 hours to sleep and when to many things run through my head i barely get 3 or 4hours sleep and a few times i didn’t get any sleep i just stayed up all day until my body felt sick and just fell asleep most the time i toss and turn to feel comfortable but i never am so anyone got any suggestions to a Medicine or a method that a teenager could use
Note : I don’t feel refreshed when i wake up i just feel weak and i have to crack my neck every morning because it has horrible cramps and it never stops hurting

Do you have any tips to make me stay awake and focus. I have tried so many things but every time I fall asleep. I really need your help. I can not go to the store and buy something because I am too young. Please help me.

I have not been sleeping well for the past 2 nights. I normally have some trouble sleeping but not as bad as this. My problem is always falling asleep. I never wake up in the middle of the night (except the last 2 nights) I can just never fall asleep, I think about too many things. Everything runs through my mind. I have tried so hard! Ive tried keeping my arm up. Ive tried not eating anything about a few hours before it. Ive done it after waking up after all my 10 hours of sleep. Ive done it in a bathtub. Ive tried so many things and I still manage to fall asleep! Even when Im not sleepy! What do I do to not fall asleep in my OBE (out of body) session?

So many things run through my head
As I lay in this bed
Nothing, but thoughts glide through my mind
So I’m laying awake instead,
Wishing for some kind of sleep tonight
Some sign of little relief
No dreams come for me now
They leave me in my grief,
Thinking through the present and past

I suffer from the kind of insomia that makes it extremely difficult for me to fall asleep. No matter how tired I am, it takes me hours. Have tried many things over the years, from reading to hot milk with nutmeg to sex to meditation to tv to physical exersion etc. Nothing works. Had some success recently with listening to audio books, but now i seem to have developed an immunity to those as well. It’s driving me crazy, sometimes I don;t even try going to bed. oh, and a slightly odd side note – during the day i can fall asleep in minutes. does anyone have the same problem and/or a suggestion on how to tackle it? it’s driving me nuts *sigh*
suppose I should add that I don’t want to take any meds. I’m an ex drug addict… kinda want to stay away from that sort of thing for now.
