Or does it mess things up? Like possibly make the heartbeat faster than it normally is? I am 16 weeks pregnant, and I have tried to cut caffeine out of my diet as much as possible. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, and was thinking about drinking some Mountain Dew before my appointment. What do you think?

I’ve been using valerian to improve my quality of sleep. I used it on a Thursday night and then had a sleep study friday night. I didn’t take the valerian friday but I’m wondering if it could alter results(heartbeat, etc).

I have very occasional asthma, not real severe attacks but can last for hours. I don’t like what Primatine does, racing heartbeat, nervousness. Benadryl works but makes me sleepy. Is anyone using the newer second generation antihistamines for asthma control?

I have some kind of sleep disorder, but I can’t figure out what it is. This is what happens.
-It is when I am falling asleep and when I wake up.
-I can’t feel my body but I can still move it.
-I have a tingling tickle feeling in every part that I try to move, including my head.
-I feel my heartbeat all over my body
-I do not feel scared but rather very dizzy and disoriented but aware at the same time, like I know what is going on and can function, but there are hallucinatory qualities to my mentality.
-My body shakes, but only with my heartbeat. For instance if I were to feel my pulse, my body would get a jolt and shake everytime I felt a beat.
-I feel like I’m swaying, almost like on a boat.
-It lessens and lessens as I continue to wake up, and worsens and worsens as I continue to fall asleep. When I wake up it is usually gone in about half an hour.
Can anyone relate or help me????
PLEASE?
