I cant sleep at night i took sleeping pills and some other stuff that tastes like crap but they don’t work. I really need some help im losing my sleep and having a hard time concentrating in class because im so tired. PLEASE HELP ![]()
I already do go for walks and go to the gym with my friends in the evening. I dont eat or drink before going to bed heard its a health hazard

I’m currently 19 years old. When I moved to college a year ago I began to have extreme problems with my sleep. I still followed the same sleep schedule for the most part but always ended up falling asleep during the day often without warning. I passed out in 2 of my classes and my head slammed against the desk. When I wake up I have a hard time moving my body. I hardly ever remember falling asleep when I do. I wake up startled and wonder what happened. What could be wrong with me?
Why do people with bipolar disorder have a hard time controlling their emotions?
I take ambien cr every night about an hour before bedtime! I fall asleep really fast but only sleep from about 10 to 2 am and have a hard time going back to sleep, if you have this problem what have you taken to keep you asleep all night?
I wonder if anyone could help me. Here’s the thing: i’ve been in school break for two months now and that means i usually go to bed at about 2 am, and I usually wake up with an alarm clock at 11 for breakfast then lunch immediately after breakfast. My problem is that I have problems sleeping, I usually stay an hour or two in bed trying to get some sleep and so I really have a hard time getting 2 sleep. Second thing is when my alarm sounds at 11 I wake up but I cant manage to get up and I immediately fall asleep. I have tried listening to music with my headphones in bed in order to stay awake but I still fall asleep again.
Anyone could help me dealing with these falling asleep/waking up problems???
I can’t get up earlier since I know it’s not worth it, I prefer sleeping. And I never take naps.
I have an extremely hard time sleeping to the point that I get complete anxiety attacks at night. My gyno prescribed me Ambien last week and I have been taking it trusting that it is safe. It helps me a great deal, but I still worry about it hurting my baby. On the other hand, though I don’t think my doctor would give it to me if it was bad. Did you take it?
my husband has Bipolar and Add. I am having a hard time with him latley. He tells me all of our fights are my fault and if I would not be the way I am he would not blow off the handle? (example. yesterday I asked him to show me where the switch was on the ceiling fan and he got mad at me telling me that the blades are wear they should be and that I am an idiot. Because he knows what he is doing) I told him not to yell at me like that in front of my child ever again and he said it was all my fault that he acted that way. Is there something I am doing wrong. Or is this typical bipolar disorder stuff. We are seeing a marriage counsler and she told him if he thinks he needs it he should see his counsler again. Well he does not think he needs it and told me I was the problem not him. How can I save my marriage and keep him going to see his counsler. I do love him a lot. i just dont love the way he has been acting please help me understand!
He is on meds. He was seeking help and it was great then he stopped because the counsler said if he needs him call. Well he does not think he needs it because he knows how to deal with his disorder. But I really dont think he does!
I am thinking about making some chamomile tea and having a melatonin (I’ve been having a hard time falling asleep before 4-5am) will this be ok to do? I had tylenol about 3 hours ago.
I know I need 8-9 hours of sleep to really feel good during the day. I’m a student so I have crazy hours but if left to my own devices I’m usually up at 1pm and don’t go to bed before 4am. I’m most productive during 10pm and 4am. I have no trouble falling asleep at 4am. When I have to go to schools to do work I have a really hard time getting up at 630am and going to bed before midnight. It doesn’t matter how long I try to keep this schedule to get used to it, I just never feel good doing it. This started in HighSchool (10yrs ago). Caffeine, diet and exercise are not a factor.
Am I just a night owl or do I have a sleep disorder? My doctor just gave me sleeping pills (Ambien) and told me to take them at 10pm. It works really well but on weekends I fall right back into my usual pattern.
see…now its 4 am and I’m tired/ready for bed. If this had been a week that I had to work I wouldn’t have been asleep before 2am even though I’d been up since 630am and have to do it all over again… wtf?

I have a 1 yr old boy and im having a hard time getting him to fall asleep on his own. He also has a habit of waking up at least 3 times a night for no reason. I tried the crying it out solution but that didnt work. I need some other way of doing it, please help me. Thank You.
