Why do people that snore not hear themselves and wake up?
My fiance snores so loudly that it wakes me up. Why can’t he hear all that rumbling, rattleing and snorting when it’s coming from inside his own head?

I know it sounds pathetic, but I have a hard time getting a good night’s sleep when my fiance stays up doing something else instead of going to bed with me. How do I overcome this?
I have a lot of trouble getting a good nights sleep. I go to bed every night at about 10. I dont have to be up until 6:30 so I get at least 8 hours. However my fiance gets up somedays as early as 3 or 4 to go to work. Eventhough hes very respectful and tries not to wake me I still wake up. Once he leaves for work I fall back asleep until 6 or 6:30 When 6 comes I have the hardest time ever trying to get out of my bed and waking up. Him getting up 2 hours before me really throws off my sleep cycle and by the time I’m asleep for 2 more hours after he leaves I’m in REM sleep and a deep sleep.
Does anyone have and ideas to help me out and be able to wake up more easily.
(I posted this somewhere else, just looking for a little more feedback)
I will be 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and for the past week I’ve been experiencing awful symptoms that I just can’t see as normal..
-Mainly, SEVERE itching. and I mean, everywhere (mostly on my feet and my hands- but it itches everywhere else too). it has gotten to the point where I have scratched so furiously that I’ve drawn blood. It sounds ridiculous, but I literally can not control myself.
-Really, really yellow urine. I thought I could possibly not be drinking enough water, but I have been watching myself and I am drinking far more than I should be.
-Insomnia. Mainly because I’m up all night itching… but I am getting maybe 2-3 hours a night and occasionally I can snag an hour nap during the day. It’s just impossible to sleep when I’m tearing up my hands and feet scratching. ]=
My poor fiance has been trying so hard to help me, but he has no idea what to do. I wake him up crying all night long because I just can’t stop scratching and I just can’t sleep. He’s even had me take benadryl and I’ve been using hydrocortizone- but there is no relief. Has anyone else ever had this happen? What should I do?

I’m about to get married, and my fiance can’t stand how i sleep! I MUST stop snoring so we can sleep in the same room at least when we get married. I have tried:
-Breath Rite strips, BR throat sprays, and BR mouth gargle
-nasal decongestant pills
-allergy medication
-I sleep on my side
-nasal sprays
almost everything, i would prefer not seeing a doctor, as I have no health insurance at the moment, i’m hoping for another solution!
I usually stay up to talk to my fiance but since he isn’t here I can’t fall back to sleep. I ran out of my sleep aid-unisom-and I would like to know if there is any way or anything that can make me fall asleep faster.
My fiance snoring is getting really bad, he is not over weight and doesnt smoke and has a very healty diet, but recently his snoring has gotten worse I end up sleeping in the spare room every night. Please help!!!!!!
he sleeps on his back with one flat pillow, he cant sleep with any more pillows than that
My fiance has had to sleep on the sofa a couple of nights because my snoring has gotten so bad in the last week. I’m 39 weeks as of Friday. He says that he tries to nudge me, but it just keeps going. I have even woken myself up a couple of times. I usually don’t snore. He said that even though he grew up with three brothers and lived with male roommates in college, he has never heard snoring like this – it is rather embarrassing. Has anyone else experienced this?
My fiance has sleep apnea and needs a sleep test done so that he can get the machine to help make it better. He has no insurance as he is out of work. We have been trying to find free sleep tests in Ohio but have had no luck.
