My boyfriend is 17 years old and sleeps constantly. I understand that sleeping is a natural an enjoyable habit, but the amount of sleep he wants is a bit excessive. I am no sure why this is,but looking apon looking up sleeping Disorders I found that heart problems can cause you to have sleeping problems. He has a heart murmur and I’m wondering if that is relevant to the problem at all? ( lol I decided to give readers all potential problems ) For example he was recently able to stay up until 4 am one night. I’m not sure how he managed this because most of the time he can’t keep his eyes open after 10:30. Anyhow he went to bed at 4 am and slept until 12:00 then I talked to him for about a half an hour and he passed out … He slept until five then stayed up until 9ish and slept tell 10 the next morning. He seems to always be tired, and I’m wondering if this is something that he should look in to or not .

Also, he does not smoke, use drugs , have an overly stressful life, live in a noisy area, consume alcohol, or consume a large amount of caffeine.
However, he does have AD HD and his meds enable him to stay up until about 4 then he crashes. He doesn’t take his meds often though.

no drugs or herbs please

I need tactics to make myself sleepy so I can sleep when I want. Ultimately, I’d like to get into a normal sleep routine, instead of these all-nighter one day followed by multiple naps the next.

When I try to sleep- I feel like I am drunk (I don’t do drugs or alcohol). I am also suffering from Insomnia but when I sleep I feel like I am heavily drunk and 8-9 hours of sleep pass like 1 second.

I told my mommy about it and she just laughed and said it must be the food.
Should I go to the doctor?

Is my mommy putting something in my food to heal my Insomnia?

You aren’t supposed to take them for more than 4 weeks at the longest.
K.E., psychological dependence to benzodiazepine develops after daily use for 4 weeks. As you know, these drugs have the potential to be addictive. They are not long-term solutions to anxiety. Antidepressants perform that function. These are not drugs you want to take everyday as you would an antidepressant.

My question is are both these drugs the same? Do they have the same effect as I take Lunesta for panic attacks at night. Lunesta has a nice calming effect unlike other medication I have tried like Trazadone. If not are there other medications the work the same as Lunesta and have the same effects as it can be very costly.

I’m a 23 year old seemingly healthy male. For about the past 8 months, I’ve been battling a persistent, severe fatigue. Every day when I wake up even if i’ve had ample rest I feel unusually tired and weak. I’m not on any drugs. What should I do? How can I combat this? Should I see a doc?

My doctor gave me lunesta to help me sleep. I take other drugs such as vistaril, verapamil, suboxone, geodone, and strattera. Will this medicine make me feel funny. Please don’t tell me anything that is going to scare me. I’m assuming the doctor knows what he is doing.
