I want to know if it’s good to snore or if it’s unhealthy for you. What does it show and mean when someone snores, what is the reasons for it
The person I am talking about:
-smokes
-drinks
-goes to sleep late and wakes up early

I am a 26-yr-old female. I probably have 2 glasses (16 ounces each) of diet coke a day. Then I probably have 5 glasses (16 ounces each) of tea per day… So, roughly, I drink 120 oz of drinks with caffeine in it per day. Is this too high?

Ill just get t o the topic. I am 14 years old and i have trouble sleeping. I usually went to sleep at about 12am and woke up at 6-8am. Now highschool started and i go to sleep from 8-10pm and wake up at 6am. But my trouble is that i cannot fall asleep anymore!
I close my eyes but they don’t fall asleep even thought i am extremely tired! I don’t take any sleeping pills, or any medications and not planning to unless it gets really serious. My eyes are very red, from not being able to fall asleep and im scared. I don’t want to visit a doctor just yet. I do not drink caffianted drinks, no food after 8 etc. No only problem is. eyes dont sleep.
Also, sometimes i might be able to fall asleep but it doesnt last the whole night, only about 1-2 hours maybe, and it’s not enough. Any help?
Thanks!

I persistently have problems trying to go to sleep. I don’t watch tv before I go to bed and I avoid caffeine after 4 pm. I either can’t sleep til really late, like 3 am or so or I crash early and then still can’t wake up in the morning or if I do I’m exhausted.
I wake up with ugly purple bags under my eyes. I’m a young adult (21) but look 30 because of this. Not only that it’s beginning to affect my school schedule. Either I go to class exhausted and rarely feeling rested or I sleep through my alarm.
PLEASE help. I NEED to fix this insomnia problem!! I have a MUCH harder semester coming up this week and an exam this Monday…if I sleep in on Monday I’ll fail.
What are effective ways to treat this problem? I already have an eye mask but what else can I try? ie. techniques, drinks, etc

These companies are able to make caffeinated water with a lot of caffeine that would usually make them very bitter. What process do they use, or what company do they outsource to to get this accomplished? I am looking for actual company names, or an actual tasteless caffeine powder.
When beverage companies make their drinks, they use powder additives. So, when Water Joe is making their caffeinated water, they use some sort of caffeine powder and add it to the water, and its either tasteless, or they treat their solution afterwards to make it tasteless. So that’s what I mean by tasteless powder for beverages.

A few nights a week, I find that I wake up several times during the night and I am so exhausted the next day. I wake up from dreams or I have to go to the bathroom and I think it is just because my body does not want to sleep. I am going to try and work out more again, because I know that will help make me tired so I will sleep sound…
but what other things are there I can do to help me sleep? Certain foods, drinks, etc.

A doctor who had been seeing an 80-year-old woman patient for most of her life finally retired. At her next checkup, the new doctor told the woman to bring a list of all the medicines that had been prescribed for her.
As the young doctor was looking through these, his eyes grew wide as he realized she had a prescription for birth control pills. "Mrs. Smith, do you realize these are BIRTH CONTROL pills?
"Yes, they help me sleep at night."
"Mrs. Smith, I assure you there is absolutely NOTHING in these that could possibly help you sleep!"
She reached out and patted the young Doctor’s knee.
"Yes, dear, I know that. But every morning, I grind one up and mix it in the glass of orange juice that my 16 year old granddaughter drinks. Believe me, it helps me sleep at night."

I heard that alcohol cancels the affect of pills, so if someone tries to OD on sleeping pills but drinks alcohol right after, will it not kill the person or damage him?

My friend is an alcoholic and drinks nightly, a few hours ago he was rushed to the hospital after taking nearly a full box of Sleep Aid containing the drug Diphenhydramine. I know for a fact he was drinking excessively as I talked to him on the phone before hearing he was rushed to the hospital?
Is this fatal?

How long doest alcohol and generic over the counter sleep aid stay in the system? I got a call today and I have to go to a place of employment for a drug screen. I drank about three drinks last night all with maybe 2 shots of Everclear in them, and went to bed around 1:30am. I have to take 2 sleep aids at night to get myself to rest. I am awake now at 12:15p. I feel absolutely normal and ready to go! Should I have anything to worry over about the drug test?
