Wondering if someone could give me some ideas.
I live in the uk and i HATE COFFEE.
I’m looking for some caffeine pills with a very high content so that I find my work outs easier to do and then as time goes on i can do it without it.
Anyone got any ideas?
cheers
Drinking coffee all day to stay energized. If I stop drinking it,my energy plummets dramatically.I’ve heard that consuming too much caffeine, will lower your natural energy,as the caffeine takes over.I’d like to get my natural energy back.I’ve tried cutting out the coffee and ended up with terrible headaches. How do I stop drinking caffeine without the horrible headaches and withdraws ?
i know coffee is a good one, but what else? The reason i ask for this is because i have to get up early in the morning to go to work, for 9 hours, and sometimes i feel very sleepy but i’m tired of drinking coffee. Any suggestions? Thnx.

I’ve been wondering how much caffeine I’m getting in my coffee. I use about 2 tablespoons of Eight O’ Clock Columbian or Starbucks Breakfast Blend grounds for a brewed pot of coffee. I know – it’s alot less than they say to use, but I don’t like it that strong and it lasts forever! Thanks for any insight.
Please give a reference if possible. Thanks!
I sleep on my stomach and I have the nasal mask for my CPAP machine but I can’t get comfy at all and can’t fall asleep. I have never slept through the night with it and I am tired every day. I am wondering if I took a sleeping pill with it at night if that would help. I need to figure something out because the coffee is starting not to be effective with keeping me awake during the day. Any help or suggestions out there?
I’ve had 4/5 hours sleep for the past 3 nights, and have had a load of coffee to keep me awake.
How little of hours can be seen as ‘sleep deprivation’?
will coffee and sleeping pills counteract eachother?
The retail store I work at is doing an all-night inventory and I’m already feeling tired — very scared I won’t be able to make it till 6am when we finally get to go home and crash. Coffee doesn’t cut it for me.
I’m having my dinner between 8pm to 9pm. After a while, I feel so sleepy that even washing my face, drinking coffee or standing is not effective. Is there any alternative or what should I take to be not sleepy? Please help me…thank you!
I’ve been drinking a lot of energy drinks recently, and they’ve all got the usual "high amount of caffeine" warning and whatnot on them. most energy drinks usually have 32ml per 100 ml, which is considered high, but how much caffeine is there in a average, say, 250ml mug of medium strength coffee?
thanks
I had more coffee today than i usually do, and it seems my irrational thoughts got worse. I would like to know if it was a coincidence, the caffeine in general, or if there is an interaction between the two.
I am taking a class this semester and I often feel drowsy and cannot pay attention and take notes. I try everything, but nothing can pull me out of drowsiness. I have plenty of rest and drank coffee. I am planning on buying some smelling salt to wake up during class. I am only going to take minute puffs and I don’t plan on doing it often. Only during lectures. I was wondering if there was any significant health or other consequences I should be worried about.
Criteria, in no particular order:
- Price – I don’t want to spend much money. Three bucks at Starbucks is way too much. At each, Red Bull is pushing it. I know I can do better than that.
- Taste – I don’t like the taste of coffee much, so some alternative would be good.
- Caffeine content – I’ve read that the recommended max intake is 200mg per day. I’d like to find something that gets me around 80-120, and would be best if I can consume it all at once, since I usually just get sleepy in the early afternoon.
- Health – I want it to be healthy, so things with lots of sugar are out. I don’t mind calories though – I’m a skinny guy.
One thing I’ve tried is green tea, which is really healthy and cheap and tastes ok, but at only 20-30 mg caffeine per cup, I never notice the effects.
Also, if anyone has suggestions for a safe substance besides caffeine to keep me energized, that would be good too.
Thanks for your help!
