I have had insomnia for the last several weeks now. I saw a dr. and he put me on a prescription sleep aid which only seemed to work for 4 hours or so and then I was wide awake again. I did not like the way it made me feel either. Kind of aggitated and not feeling right. So, I have melatonin. What is the most of this I can take at night time before I go to bed??? I have 3mg tablets. This won’t harm me will it?? I want sleep. I don’t drink caffeine or eat chocolate. Does ANYONE have ANY ideas to help me fall asleep and stay asleep?? I don’t really have much faith in my dr. after this medicine he put me on. It was horrible the way it made me feel. Someone please HELP me!!

I just got a queen size bed and am looking for nice bedding to go with it. I have white walls and my furniture is a dark red mahogany and was wondering what kind of bedding would look good with it. I am looking at a chocolate brown bed set, but didn’t know if the colors would look good with it or not. What do you think?

I’m allergic to coffee and chocolate. Aside from sodas, what has large amounts of caffeine but doesn’t contain a lot of sugar. Are there caffeine pills or something that are pure caffeine?

i am a 37 yr old truck driver and; yes, i am obese. i’ve tried diet and exercise. but while driving and the sleepy or tired feeling comes down on me i snack to stay awake, usually un healthy snacks like chocolate and caffiene and chips and sodas. if anyone has any experience or opinions i am open for suggestions.

I have problems sleeping at night and it is to the point that sleeping pills don’t work anymore. To be honest I don’t want to have to depend on them. What are some things I can do to help me fall asleep at night? I have no trouble staying asleep its just falling asleep. I don’t drink soda anymore and only drink water after 5pm I don’t eat chocolate at all (I’m vegetarian) I just have a hard time falling asleep
need advice please.

I know that warm milk is supposed to help those who have difficulty falling asleep because of the effect of triptophan (also found in turkey). Since chocolate is a stimulant, I wonder just how much, if any, it negates the triptophan as a sleep aid. HELP ! Signed…..Sleepless in Pittsburgh
