I read that if you take an antibiotic too soon it will kill the organism off before your body’s immune system has time to develope antibodies to it. First, is this true? And if so, should I wait a while before going to the doctor and getting antibiotics? I stuck it out three days: headache; yellow/green mucus; sinus congestion; throat ache; drowsiness; etc. – should I have waitied longer for my body to fight back (it didn’t seem like it was fighting too well). Thanks!

Yesterday I went to the doctor and was prescribed an antibiotic for a UTI. Today I feel like a moose danced on my head. I am so out of it. Any ideas why?
My allergies are also running rampant. Maybe the combination of allergies and fighting an infection is the cause?

Will the melatonin stop the antibiotic and birth control from working?
