Get Better Sleep And Find Natural Remedies To Cure Insomnia
Is there any change between the relief of taking it once and after a week? Like does it take some days to kick in like anti-depressants do.
I know it "works" right away but i hear it takes a week or something…? How much of a difference after that than the first pill. I have severe anxiety.
What are Anti-Depressants and What are Sleeping pills? And how are they different and how are they related?

I’m on anti depressants but that doesn’t put me to sleep. When I don’t drink coffee, I’m fine all day. But when I start to drink coffee, then I start to get sleepy. This was even happening before I started my anti depressants.
Would any body have any idea of whats going on?
I take currently wellbutrin and trazodone, and I want to start taking lithium too. Is it bad to take all 3 at the same time? I have a really good response to anti-depressants, and they make me ALOT happier, and I think lithium could really top me off. So just curious.
I’m only on 50mg and so far it’s helping me to sleep. Is it easier to come off this than other anti-depressants?
I have social anxiety disorder, and these are the only medicines I’ve found that work.

I like the way Benadryl makes me sleep. I have a deep sleep and very vivid dreams. I take 1 Benadryl and 1 Melatonin every night. Am I doing myself harm?
I am having trouble with sleeping because I am depressed. NO! I will not go to the Dr and take Anti-Depressants! I think they are poison. I have been doing this for 2 months now. And my age is not important.

I was diagnosed with manic depression about two yers ago. Most of my family has it too.
I’ve been a little manic lately:
Eating less
Clenching my jaw and chewing on the inside of my cheek
Biting my lip till it bleeds
Jittery
Racing thoughts
All the usual symptoms.
I know that lack of sleep can bring on a manic episode, but my question is : Does mania cause lack of sleep.
Because I haven’t been able to sleep in two days.
I took the sleeping pills prescribed to me for insomnia.
I took my anti-anxiety medication.
But absolutely nothing seems to work
i even tried hot showers, baths, warm tea… all the supposed cures for insomnia but they haven’t worked either.
Is my mania causing my insomnia?
Oh and I should probably mention that i am on adderal too.

I stopped taking it for a month and fell into a trance like state where I was asleep all the time.
So I started taking it again and now i can’t sleep at all.
I am on mood stabilizers
And anti depressants
And anti anxiety medication
And Adderal
Wow. That’s kind of embaressing to admit
I go to a neurologist. He’s supposed to be really good.
But even he is starting to get perplexed.
I’ve gotten up to 60 pills a day. The only opiate detox symptom I don’t get is vomiting- instead I get ravenously hungry.
My other symptoms are as thus:
Goose bumps, anxiety, watery eyes and nose, yawning. did I mention anxiety? Irritabitlity, insomnia (BAD), and weirdly enough, extreme sexual arousal. I get a hoarse voice and lack of energy….
but anyways I went 8 days without (after the second day detox I almost died by OD’in on Valium and Benadryl- my mom called the ambulance and I spend the next three-four days in the psych ward. Anyways I’ve since gotten out. Was set out on Seroquel and Celexa.
I’ve learned that Ultram is also an antidepressant of sorts, and now I’m starting a new anti depressant. I’m still having trouble sleeping and such serious acute anxiety attacks. I left the psych ward after the state legal hold, but now regret that since I stil have drug cravings and thought of ending it all. I know it takes time for the anti depressants to kick in, and my supposed "outpatient rehab" starts tomorrow, but the day before yesterday I was so anxious I was willing to recheck myself into the pscyh ward. The social worker and doctor at the ER noted that the psych docs didn’t send me with an immediate anti anxolytic, so they suggested I take one at home until my rehab appt. rather than check into the pscyh floor again.
Today i had no relief from the anti-anxiety med, Klonopin, even taking it at 5 x the dose prescribed (one mg). I got crying and despondent and seriously considered suicide. Instead of doing so I went to a different ER and played up some hip pain (that got me hooked on opiates in the first place) and got Lortab and a Dilaudid shot then 30 more Lortab. My husband is pissed at me because I was without for so long, but I really thought it was that or suicide. I still have that group therapy and an appt with a psychologist tomorrow, so what should I do? Lie about the whole thing and pretend I’m still clean?
My husband is at his wits end with me, as I’m sure I would be too. I keep saying and believing I want to be clean and sober, but then if they knew how hard it was for me to be that way they would never ask it of me, right?
Anyways, this is just a rambler asking for advice….

depressants because I have very difficult depression.
I have been having repeated dreams of committing suicide. The dreams don’t actually involve the final event of pulling the trigger, but they do involve holding a gun to my head.
I’m waking up to these dreams and they are interfering with my ability to get a good nights rest.
I have a therapist and a psychiatrist. I also am on anti-depressants already.
My doctor prescribed me Effexor XR today for my extreme depresssion, anxiety, & irrational thoughts.
Ive never taken anti-depressants before. What should I expect? I really NEED relief from my symptoms.. my life was falling apart.
She also prescribed me Trazodone for my insomnia as well, anything i need to know about that as well?

do they try not to prescribe them to young teens? [aged 14ish]
