I happen to know you can give Benadryl to both cats and dogs for allergies. I used to work in a Vet’s office and filled many prescriptions for them. I simply have for gotten the dose of mg per lb.
I’m taking Singulair and R-Tanna ( generic for Rynatan-NF ) for my allergies. Can i take Advil PM, or doxylamine succinate tablets ( Kirkland’s sleep aid ) or any other sleep aid with those two meds?

I’ve been taking a lot of Benedryl the last few weeks. I picked up a cold when leaving Jackson, WY a week and a half ago. And the climate changes across the US, from Wyoming all the way to my home in Georgia (vast difference in plant types and humidity) just aggravated my allergies even more. But I’ve been ridiculously hungry since then. I’m taking 2 capsules of Benedryl about 3x/day. I know it’s what’s making me hungry, but why? I have to control these allergies but I can’t keep eating and gaining weight like this! Help!
I know people who give their dogs Benadryl for allergies or even spider bites, I’m wondering can you give them Claritin if you don’t have Benadryl?

My dad has allergies all over his body and he’s had them for a few days now. The itch is driving him crazy and I feel sorry just by looking at him getting aggravated all the time. Can antihistamines stop the itch? It’s allergies and heat rashes in one. His skin is very red all over..

When I take antihistamines everyday I have almost normal blood pressure. When I stop taking antihistamines my BP keeps going back up. I should by no means have high BP. I do have a family history of it, but we are all very athletic and fit so I don’t get it.
