			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For what I&#8217;ve heard (I might be with the wrong idea though) dreams happen in the REM sleep stages (or at least those they are remembered) either way, even if it is possible to dreams to happen in other stages I always get the information that they never happen in the first&#8217;s sleep stages. Now&#8230;.When I wake up by my alarm clock I usually look at the time (after having a 8 hours sleep) then I try to get up of the bed but I close my eyes just for a second to &quot;rest my eyes&quot; and I fall asleep imediatly and sometimes I wake up right away and look again at the clock, at it is exacly the same time. Which means I slept less than a minute (possibly just seconds) and in that time I had dreams, and I mean really long dreams, like 30mins to 1 day (in &#8216;dream-time&#8217; not physical time) I usually have dreams that last for weeks in dream-time but in those seconds I had a really long memorable and elaborated dream. (With a plot and consistence and so on) which means in was a &quot;good&quot; dream. Basically what I&#8217;m trying to say is how is it possible for me to skip 2-3 sleep stages directly to REM? or I had my dream in sleep stage 1? And it was a &quot;good&quot; dream like those we only have by a restfull night and by &quot;good&quot; I mean that it wasnt &quot;random&quot; (like those dreams that doesnt make any sence or logic that people have when they have poor sleep). How is this possible?

<p>Why is it that when you wake up, and your still tired, you press the snooze button, but 10 minutes later the alarm goes off and you feel wide awake? I know no sleep actually occurs, in order for you to enter back into a rem cycle it can take 30 minutes to an hour, with an average time being 45 minutes. So your not actually resting, your more or less just in a passed the fuck out state of mind. </p>
<p>Also what is with it with the time of the snooze timer itself, is there some actual science behind the notion that it takes roughly 10 minutes for your body to wake up and the sensation of being tired to leave your system, or is it just some random number the clock makers came up with and put on the clock to try and make some extra money by at one time saying our alarm clock can do something that no other alarm clock can?

Even if it does wake me up, I am often in a semi-sleep state, and I turn the alarm off without realizing it, and I go back to sleep.  My parents think I have much more trouble waking up than a normal teenager, even considering the circumstances, and they don&#8217;t like having to wake me up, usually several times each morning. In the afternoon, it is common for me to take naps accidentally, because I am so tired. I take 50 mg of Zoloft every night. Could my sleep problems be because of Zoloft?
