I’ve been clinically depressed and stricken with associated insomnia for over 10 years. I’ve tried a lot of different medications, yet nothing seems to work consistently (or the side effects are too severe). I can’t financially afford any type of therapy.
What else can I try at this point?
I do run about an hour a day, yet it has no effect at all.

So… it never really registered until right now… Is it possible that my insomnia (not stress related, or new, I’ve actually suffered from it for over 10 years now) could be affecting my ability to conceive?
I will, of course, research, but if anyone knows right off that would be great, thanks.

I am seriously looking at purchasing a sleep number bed since both me and my fiancee need different firmness, our current mattress works great for him, but I toss and turn all night because of back pain. They currently have like 9-10 models on their website, I’d like to get the best but most reasonably priced one. Any suggestions? Has anyone out there had one for over 10 years, do they hold up well?

The mother of my exboyfriend appeared in my dream. She died 10 years ago and I have never met her. She appeared in my dreams, alive and with her son, who was my ex. Basically, she said that her son’s gf, just left him for another guy and I need to take care of him. I have no communications with my ex anymore, so this dream seems so weird to me.

My son has been tentatively diagnosed with early onset bipolar disorder. He is 10 years old. He was previously diagnosed (at great expense) with ADHD. I am frightened for his future and there is little information out there about how to effectively parent a bipolar child. Anyone have experience with this? Hints, tips, advise?

If more than 10 years, how many years have you taken trazodone? I want to find out how long you can take trazodone before you die from it.

I’ve struggled with sleep for almost 10 years and I’m almost 19. I took blood pressure medicine (which had the side effect of drowsiness) from when I was 9 to 13. Obviously, I didn’t have high blood pressure, but the medicine made me sleepy, at first anyway. I started to fight it after a while and it eventually barely effected me. I just recently graduated from high school and when I knew I had to get up early every morning, I would go to sleep between 12 and 2 every night. Not sure if that’s average for teenagers or not. Now, I’m taking a semester off, but I go to college in the spring. I don’t have a "real" job, so I am always staying up late. I usually go to sleep between 2 and 5, but I’ve also been known to stay awake the whole night without a minute of sleep and try to function the next day. I’m not interested in taking medicine again. I just want someone to talk me through my problems so I can figure out why I do this. Sometimes, I don’t go to sleep because I simply don’t get sleepy. But most of the time, it’s because I fight it off. I’m convinced it’s a mental problem and can be resolved without medication.
So, do I go to a therapist, psychiatrist, or physcologist?

I had sleep apnea for 10 year before being diagnosed and starting treatment. I am now experiencing focus and concentration problems, and they are starting to effect my job. I have been using a C-PAP since diagnosis 10 years ago. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas what to do about it?
PS-My doctor put me on stratera, and I don’t have ADD or ADHD. Anyone else tried this?

I keep telling my husband I can easily fall asleep in 5 minutes sometimes if the condition is right and I’m tired enough. He doesn’t believe me, even though we’ve been married for 10 years. How long does it take you to fall asleep when you’re exhausted?
