Sleeping??
I’m 20 years old and I have a sleeping problem. I can sleep a 13 hour night and I am still dead tired only a couple hours later, and I go back to sleep, i just can’t get enough. I always want to lay down and I can’t even get a job because of htis. I’m always tired. I take Celexa for anxiety, but that’s it. This has been going on for the past few months. I would go to the doctor but I don’t have insurance, so do you have any ideas?
I have been taking celexa forever, i’ve never had this, i’m sure it’s not from that

have you gotten your iron tested latly? Low iron can cause a person to be tierd all the time.
Or perhaps maybe it’s depression, I know along with anxiety can come depression. Either way it looks like you need to go talk to your doctor about this.
I would say that you are having a side effect to the medication. I would suggest you try switching to a new medication so you wont have that side effect. Or you can be put on a medication FOR the sleepiness like a Ritalin type medicine.
may be you should take vitamins and stop taking celexa, that’s most likely making you sleepy.
you have trouble staying asleep. as you sleep at night, you might just be moving around and not notice it…
the best thing to do is buy a new bed. and don’t buy a spring mattress. get one of those memory foams or sleep number beds. a little cashy but its better then taking pills every moment.
and also try taking a glass of warm milk like 2-3 hrs before sleeping.
You may have mono. No matter what you need to speak with your doctor about this.
Your problem might be sleep lethargy.
Two ideas behind this, first is that too much sleep breeds more sleep, leading to the recommendation to sleep a maximum of 12 hours per day.
Second is that our sleep cycle is about 4 hours. Sleeping for 4, 8 or 12 hours is good but sleeping for 6 is actually worse for our bodies then 4. Same idea applies to 10 vs 8 and 13 vs 12.
Try a week of making sure you sleep only 8 or 12 hours a day and see if you have any improvement.
i think theres sumthing called mononucleosis aka mono…that causes a person to sleep for about 12 to 16 hours daily.
its spread by kissing nd sharign drinks and stuff like that.
Hi Sweetie,
I know r meds however think u have an Iron Defeciency problem which would lead to Anemia, as I have if u don’t take care of this
at once. Warning: Iron makes u constipated therfore u must boost r Fibre Intake. My friend has this as well. For more info see r Dr. he’ll say the same, as r not getting it in r
daily diet! You’ll feel alot more stamina & energized, like the battery! (smile)
thats probly too much sleep, if you sleep too much that also makes you tired
