How long before babies start sleeping through the night?

I don’t remember from the first one, and I have another now. How long before they start sleeping at night and waking up in the morning? Does it make a difference if they are breastfed or formula fed?

Every baby is different, so there’s no definite answer. 90% of babies can sleep through the night by 3 months – but that can mean as little as six hours, so it’s far from a full night of sleep for YOU. And those six hours might not be completely restful – they could still fuss enough to wake you up.
And yes, formula takes longer to digest, so formula fed babies do tend to sleep longer. But again, it varies.
It’s exhausting, isn’t it? Hang in there.
they dont sleep
they wait
all babies are different in this regard.
Not untill you have fufilled all of their needs and wants.
Depends on the baby. i don’t think I slept till my first was 10 years old, but her younger brother was a real sleeper.
there’s no set time. my first slept through from four months, my second is 18 months and still wakes up twice a night! all babies are different.
It usually just depends on the baby. some babies start sleeping through the night at 2 weeks but some toddlers still don’t sleep through the night. It really just depends on your baby and whether or not she is laid back or very active. Formula fed babies usually do take longer to sleep through the night.
Hope this helped!

my daughetr slept right through from 9pm – 7am at 5 weeks old, she was always good before this and just woke up for feeds and went straight back to sleep when i layed her back down, she was on formula.
all babies are different, mine slept through since he was 3 weeks old but my nephew has only just started sleeping through and he 14 months old. my son was bottle fed and my nephew was breast fed but i don’t really know if that is why theres such a difference. but the good thing about bottle feeding is you can thicken the milk to make them fuller before they go to sleep, a full contented baby sleeps, if they wake don’t disturb them to much and only change there nappy when necessary. stick to your routine religiously and it should happen in good time good luck with the sleeping
My daughter started sleeping through the night at 9 weeks old. She was formula fed. I don’t know about any differences, as she is my only child.
all babies are different,my daughter for instance started sleeping thru the night at about 2 months old.
