How do I convince my mom to let me take the sleeping aid melatonin?

I baught a bottle at the mall WITH MY OWN MONEY because I have been not being able to sleep for a while. And once she saw that I bought it she took it from me and hid it and told me I’m not allowed to do drugs.. I mean seriously it’s a natural over the counter sleeping pill. I told her she can keep it and whenever I have trouble falling asleep I can ask her for it but she still said no.

if ur mom can say wat products u can and cant use then ur too yound to use melatioin….they reason y people use it as we age our body produces less melatoinin….u should try to use some other methods of helping u sleep…..like chamoile and valrain root….this site will help… http://www.naturalcures.com/Members/Sleep-Disorders.aspx
