How can I cure insomnia?

That depends on what is causing it. But with my own experience with insomnia I havent found a cure so to speak.
Valarian Root is a herbal treatmet for insomnia and anxiety, its a natural sedative. So you could try this. You can buy it over the counter or online.
Swimming wears you out a bit so that might help you sleep.
Also have you tried the hot milk before bed? Camomile tea? Warm/Hot bath with lavender essential oil?
Lavender oil on your bedsheets?
I personally am on Quetiapine to get me to sleep. I take 125mg at night. This is however a prescription only medication. And if you were to start using it 50mg would start to begin with and you would increase it as you got used to it.
If its really bad you should go to your Doctor, or if nothing suggested here works.

Doing exercise during the day (if you don’t do any) or a brisk walk in the evening. Drinking less tea & coffee (if you drink it)

This too shall pass. Insomnia will pass. You can take Tylenol PM or a sedative but they body soon builds up a tolerance for that and you keep needing to take more and more of it to sleep. You need to find the source of your stress. Maybe talk to a psychologist- another woman. All this is just teenage girl angst and you will grow out of it.
