How to sleep better at night?




for the past few days i havent been sleeping that good..i always have a million thoughts running through my mind…lol my whole house is like asleep except me..except my mom cause shes a light sleeper..any tips on how to sleep better at night? i tend to think of scary things in bed too…lol…
my parents make me go to bed and im not tired. can that be it too?

Does anyone know of any good snoring cures?




My husband has a horrible snoring problem. It is to the point where I don’t sleep so have to go in a different room at night. I don’t want to have to do this but have our two small children to care for during the day so I have to get some rest. I believe it affects his quality of sleep too as he seems restless during the night. Is there anything out there that has worked for any of you? He has mentioned surgery but I am hoping it doesn’t have to go that far. Please help!

I slept for an hour and woke up having a nasty nightmare. It has been 4 hours and I still cannot get to sleep. Do you have the same problem?

I am writing a story at the moment and in it the character dies of an accidental overdose from sedatives and sleeping pills. The sedatives are for anxiety disorder, eg Valium. The character dies because of prolonged frequent use, not from single overdose.

How to fall asleep faster?




any tips on ways for me to fall asleep better/faster? i’ll be tired w/ only five hours of sleep from the previous night and i can’t go to sleep until i go to bed around eleven or so. and i have to wake up at around 5:45 for school. please & thanks :)

How can I change my sleeping pattern?




I graduated college over a year ago. Since then I have started my own company and moved to NYC. I need to be in the office by 9 every morning, which means I need to get up at 6:30. The problem is I absolutely can not fall asleep before 2. If I go to bed at 12 I will lay in bed for 2 hours, no matter how much sleep I got the night before.

Sleeping pills help but when I wake up I feel extremely tired like I didn’t sleep well. I have tried herbal remedies, teas, etc. I even didn’t sleep one night and ended up going to bed at 1 the next night, so that didn’t really help.

Any ideas?

How can I get myself to sleep better?




I usually stay up until past midnight, but since it’s summer vacation I sleep in, but what’s a good way to help get me to sleep faster? There are constantly good shows on late, which is practically why I stay up late. Peace!

Hello. What are some ways to cure insomnia?




I don’t really have any worries keeping me awake but I seem to like watching movies/reading books at night because I can’t sleep. And sometimes this affects my daily activities i.e. I feel sleepy in the daytime.

Is it safe to take two sleeping pills at once?




The sleeping pills I’m taking are 50mg each & the directions say take one, but that just doesn’t seem to be enough for me. I don’t know if it’s safe to take two of them at the same time though.

How to get better sleep pattern?




For the last month my sleeping pattern has been out of whack.

I’ll fall asleep at like 6 in the morning at wake up at 6 at night!

All my activities are lackluster and I always feel sad and depressed. I’m basically in a slump.

What are some ways for me to sleep normally again?

What is a good prescription sleeping pill?




I have tried Lunesta with no luck AT all and Ambien helped some what for about a month. Now I am back to not sleeping. I know they all effect people different but I am hoping to find something that doesn’t make me groggy the next day but knocks me out at night! I have tried natural remedies, avoiding caffeine, getting exercise. Nothing helps! I am tired when I go to bed but I just lay there and when I do fall asleep it isn’t continuous.
